The Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Rice University has a postdoctoral position in the area of terahertz imaging. The research involves experimental studies of imaging of objects buried in random media, using terahertz pulses. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, have a Ph.D. in physics or a related discipline, and a strong publication record. Experience in femtosecond optics and/or terahertz time-domain spectroscopy is desired. The anticipated start date is September 1, 2003.
